I'm working with a high-growth fintech that's rethinking how American workers access their earnings, building financial products directly into the workforce, payroll and scheduling platforms people already use every day.

The business is helping bridge the gap between working and getting paid, combining embedded finance with digital banking to give millions of workers greater flexibility and control over their money. It's an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at the intersection of fintech, payments and technology, with direct exposure to senior leadership, board reporting and strategic decision-making.

The Role

\n

They're looking for a Strategic Finance Senior Manager to partner closely with the SVP of Finance, owning core financial planning, forecasting and reporting while helping shape the company's next stage of growth.

\n

\n

You'll have a broad remit across financial modelling, business performance, investor materials and reporting infrastructure, with real scope to improve how the finance function operates through AI, automation and data.

\n

\n

What You'll Be Doing

\n

\n
• Own financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
\n
• Build models covering revenue, unit economics, profitability, headcount and cash flow.
\n
• Lead the preparation of board materials, investor reporting and executive presentations.
\n
• Deliver monthly performance reporting across Product, GTM, Partnerships and Controllership.
\n
• Evaluate new products, partnerships and growth opportunities through financial analysis.
\n
• Build scalable reporting processes using tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Pigment and AI-driven automation.
\n
• Support fundraising and wider strategic finance initiatives.
\n

What They're Looking For

\n

\n
• 4–5 years' experience across strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking or financial reporting.
\n
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and presentation skills.
\n
• Experience producing accurate, board-ready reporting and translating financial data into commercial insights.
\n
• A genuine interest in automation, AI and building better finance systems — beyond spreadsheets alone.
\n
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to work across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
\n

\n

Fintech, payments, embedded finance, lending or high-growth startup experience would be particularly relevant. Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Pigment or BI tools is also advantageous.

\n

• Location: New York City

• Base salary: $165,000–$185,000
\n
• Additional compensation: Equity, benefits and other perks
