This full-time remote position offers the flexibility to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home while making a profound impact on the lives of individuals grappling with mood disorders. The salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify and evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, defining specific therapeutic goals and strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methods, and introduce effective self-care techniques to facilitate recovery.
\n
• Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting interventions and strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, ensuring collaboration across disciplines.

• Stay informed on the latest research related to mood disorders to enhance treatment frameworks and apply the most effective methodologies in practice.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment modalities, share insights, and support one another's professional growth.

• Actively promote awareness and understanding of mood disorders, advocating for client rights and addressing any stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a variety of clients, each with unique backgrounds and therapeutic needs. Your compassionate approach will aid in building rapport and fostering trust with clients, creating an environment conducive to healing and progress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Thorough understanding and application of evidence-based psychological treatments, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and the capability of collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and medical teams.

• A track record demonstrating successful outcomes in mood disorder treatment and a commitment to upholding client dignity and rights.

• Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients from varied cultural, social, and economic backgrounds.
