Work Environment\n

This role is designed as a remote position, allowing for flexibility while working primarily from home. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adjustments based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by patients, leading to the creation of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, working with individuals, couples, and families to promote positive change.

• Organize and lead psychoeducational and support groups addressing common mental health issues, which foster a sense of community and shared experience among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and support staff to ensure a well-rounded, coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services to address mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and stability of clients in acute distress.

• Educate patients on mental health disorders, treatment paths, and community resources available for further support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records as mandated by legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is diverse, with clients presenting with an array of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and ethical therapeutic practices.
