Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized and evidence-based treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and neuromuscular re-education techniques, to aid in rehabilitation.
• Educate patients regarding injury prevention, optimal posture, and ergonomics to promote self-management techniques for long-term wellness.
• Monitor patient progress closely, reassess treatment effectiveness, and refine treatment plans based on real-time outcomes and EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, referring physicians, and other allied healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans for integrated patient care.
• Engage actively in team meetings, contributing to case discussions and sharing insights to promote collective growth and enhance treatment approaches.
• Mentor and support Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), aides, and student interns, fostering their professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients including those recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our patients range from active athletes to older adults, ensuring a diverse and rewarding caseload that enriches your professional experience. Your expertise will be pivotal in helping them achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy license in the state of California is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and prior experience managing sports injuries, post-operative rehab, or chronic pain is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with patients and team members alike.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems for maintaining patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, along with a comprehensive suite of benefits. This includes:
