Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in students’ lives by providing specialized support to learners with significant disabilities in a welcoming, inclusive school environment. This contract opportunity offers two openings—one at the elementary level, and one in secondary—both serving a small caseload of around ten students. You’ll help build essential skills, foster academic growth, and work closely with dedicated teams of professionals.

These roles are full-time opportunities (35-40 hours per week) and require in-person instruction only. Low-incidence Special Education licensure is essential and must be presented prior to client submission. Your expertise will help develop customized interventions and ensure every student receives a supportive, individualized experience.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Current, valid Low-Incidence Special Education teaching license (must be on hand for application)
• Demonstrated experience working with students exhibiting significant disabilities
• Flexibility and compassionate approach to teaching
• Ability to design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging classroom environment
• Willingness and availability to work onsite; virtual instruction is not an option

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of ~10 students (elementary or secondary, based on placement)
• Deliver specialized, individualized instruction and adaptive curriculum supports
• Conduct IEP meetings and ongoing progress monitoring
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain open lines of communication with families
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and best practices for low-incidence populations

This assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 19, 2027, providing ample opportunity to connect with students and see their progress throughout the school year.
