Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in special education to a rewarding contract opportunity, supporting students with significant disabilities in a full-time setting. Two positions are available—one serving elementary grades and another at the secondary level—with caseloads of approximately 10 students each. These roles require passionate educators who can deliver individualized instruction and case management in-person across the full academic year.

Your skills will support a diverse group of learners, promoting academic, behavioral, and social growth while collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. The setting is highly collaborative, and you’ll have ample resources and support to develop creative, effective approaches tailored to each student’s needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid low-incidence special education license (must be current and included with application)
• Experience working with students who have significant disabilities
• Demonstrated ability to modify curriculum and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Flexibility and commitment to onsite, in-person instruction (virtual options unavailable)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs catering to each student’s abilities
• Support both academic and life skills instruction for small caseloads
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal special education requirements
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment

Contract Details:

• Full-time: 35-40 hours per week
• Contract runs from August 11, 2026, to May 19, 2027
