Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, fostering positive therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics.

• Conducting regular sessions to review client progress, stabilize mental health concerns, and plan for successful discharges when appropriate.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, closely monitoring their effectiveness, and making necessary adjustments in collaboration with clients.

• Completing thorough documentation and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards to maintain accurate client records.

• Conducting intake assessments to evaluate new clients' mental health needs and establish care strategies.

• Engaging in weekly individual therapy sessions and working closely with clinical supervisors to ensure the highest level of care.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate care and contribute to holistic patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on youth and their families, working with a diverse array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and substance abuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a mental health discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work).

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.

• Proven ability to fulfill the credentialing requirements of our organization and relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience in mental health settings, specifically with psychiatric and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and providing individual and group therapy.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in maintaining electronic health records and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

A background that includes work with adolescent clients and experience in outpatient settings will be advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches will contribute positively to our programs and client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
