Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which is equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies to enhance patient recovery. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured yet fulfilling work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual goals, mobility limitations, and physical capabilities.
• Creating and implementing customized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet patients' unique needs.
• Employing modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Monitoring patient progress, adapting treatment plans as required, and effectively communicating changes with the healthcare team to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding their conditions and preventative practices to facilitate better health outcomes.
• Designing holistic fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination tailored to each patient's lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with encompass a diverse population, ranging from those recovering from orthopedic surgeries to individuals managing chronic conditions or injuries. You will engage with each patient at varying stages of their recovery, requiring your expertise in adapting your therapeutic approaches to suit their specific circumstances. Building rapport and trust with patients from different backgrounds will be essential to fostering their engagement in the recovery process.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist to practice in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably focusing on orthopedic cases.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
