Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and identify specific issues.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client goals.

• Provide regular follow-up sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques suited to each patient's unique situation.

• Offer referrals and coordinate care with additional healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, when necessary.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with mental health best practices.

• Document all therapeutic interventions and maintain accurate and confidential client records in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse population, addressing various mental health conditions in clients from all walks of life. Your caseload may include individuals struggling with depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and body image concerns, all requiring tailored therapeutic approaches. You will build meaningful therapeutic relationships based on trust and empathy, facilitating an environment where clients feel safe to explore challenges and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid professional license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods.

• Excellent communication skills with a knack for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Ability to perform crisis intervention and provide support in high-pressure situations.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
