Interim Accounts Payable Specialist

StevenDouglas is partnering with a client in Downtown Houston in their search for an experience Accounts Payable professional. This position is expected to be 3-6 months in duration and will be 100% on-site in Downtown Houston. Responsibilities Receive, review, and process high-volume PO based invoices in accordance to company policies and approval workflow Perform PO matching to ensure accuracy before posting Research and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with various departments and vendor Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status, missing documentation, and discrepancy resolution Ensure invoices are processed within terms to support on-time payment cycles Qualifications 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, focused on processing in a high-volume environment Hands-on experience with PO based invoice processing SAP experience preferred, or other large ERP system Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a large volume of transactions accurately Ability communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr StevenDouglas
