Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Senior Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Directing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and restoring functional abilities for each patient.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities through diagnostic techniques and functional assessments, ensuring accurate treatment strategies.
• Supervising and guiding Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure smooth execution of care plans and adherence to best practices.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic exercises and modalities, including manual therapy techniques, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Evaluating home environments for rehabilitation effectiveness and making constructive recommendations to enhance patient independence.
• Progressively monitoring patient status, documenting changes and response to therapy, and communicating this data to the broader clinical team.
• Contributing to interdisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and adjustments to care plans based on patient progress and team feedback.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards of care while maintaining up-to-date clinical documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and age-related mobility challenges. Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

• Valid CPR certification and a driver's license, including automobile insurance.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and family engagement.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, applicants with experience in home healthcare, geriatric care, or advanced therapeutic modalities will be strongly preferred.
