Senior Physical Therapist - Full-Time Onsite Specialist in Home Care

The Motion and Health Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Spotswood, New Jersey. Work Environment

This role is structured around a Monday through Friday schedule, with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a physical therapist working onsite and in home care, you will experience the opportunity to build strong relationships with your patients in a comfortable and familiar setting, enabling a more effective and supportive recovery process. Our clinic is sufficiently equipped to support various treatment modalities, ensuring you have the tools you need to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical functionalities and limitations related to orthopedic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and rehabilitation needs, emphasizing manual therapy techniques, supervised exercise, and educational support.
• Manage a caseload of approximately three patients per hour, providing personalized one-on-one therapy sessions that focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including MDs, OTs, DCs, NPs, and PAs, to coordinate care that addresses all aspects of patients' health and wellbeing.
• Document patient progress promptly and accurately using CureMD EMR, ensuring a seamless flow of information among care team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients experiencing a range of orthopedic conditions. These may include post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will not only aid in their physical rehabilitation but will also educate patients on self-management strategies, ultimately promoting sustained health and physical fitness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active physical therapy license in New Jersey, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with patients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly preferred, although new graduates with a strong foundation in clinical theory and practice are also encouraged to apply.
• A genuine passion for patient care and a proactive approach to rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 110,000 to USD 125,000, reflecting your skills and experience in the field.
