This is a seat at the leadership table of a well-established ambulatory surgery center in the Tri-Valley region of California. As Administrator, you own the full operational picture — financial performance, clinical quality, physician relationships, regulatory compliance, and workforce — while serving as the connective tissue between the governing board, medical staff, and a national healthcare enterprise that gives this role real institutional backing.

The Role

The Administrator leads day-to-day facility operations across administrative, clinical support, and business functions. Specific responsibilities include:

- Leading operational, staffing, and capital budgeting cycles and monitoring ongoing financial performance
- Serving as liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and the supporting home office
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and patient safety standards
- Overseeing staffing, performance management, and workforce planning
- Supporting physician relationships, credentialing, and medical staff coordination
- Managing vendor, service, and physician contracts
- Driving quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives
- Participating in operational reviews and identifying opportunities for service line growth

What You Bring

- 2–5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration
- Background in ambulatory surgery center leadership, or hospital surgical services leadership with meaningful ASC exposure
- Bachelor's degree minimum; advanced degree a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance, lead teams, and navigate regulatory environments
- Comfort operating as both a strategic partner and a hands-on operational leader
