Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account the interplay between psychological and physical conditions affecting patients’ overall well-being.

• Develop, implement, and continually adjust integrated treatment plans that responsively address both psychiatric and medical conditions, ensuring holistic patient care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based modalities tailored to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure coordinated care, leading to effective treatment outcomes and continuity of services.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support in mental health emergencies, exercise sound judgment, and maintain a calm demeanor during high-stress situations.

• Educate patients about the connections between mental health and physical health, empowering them to take an active role in managing their conditions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation that complies with all legal, ethical, and insurance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapy services focus on a diverse patient population, particularly individuals grappling with both mental health issues and co-occurring medical conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R,Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Demonstrated ability and experience addressing mental health needs for individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients.
\n
• Strong understanding of professional boundaries and adherence to ethical guidelines, committed to protecting patient confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth applications.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly in outpatient services.

• Experience with integrated care models, focusing on the intersection of mental and physical health.

• Training in evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, or other therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
