Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and challenges.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and maintain comprehensive client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops, staying updated with the latest mental health research and practices.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will primarily work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and familial relationship difficulties. By tailoring your approach to each client's unique circumstance, you will support them in navigating their challenges and achieving positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
