As a licensed mental health professional, you will be instrumental in providing quality mental health services to our patients, conducting assessments, and delivering personalized therapeutic interventions. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining close collaboration with your colleagues. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to assess clients’ psychological needs, identify issues, and develop effective treatment strategies.

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy across diverse populations.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups to address common mental health concerns, promoting shared understanding and community among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to coordinate holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support for clients during mental health emergencies or critical situations.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources in the community.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team consultations, professional development workshops, and continual education to remain informed of evolving trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve direct interactions with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. By tailoring your therapeutic approaches to each client's unique background and circumstances, you will help empower them along their journey toward improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

• Comprehensive knowledge of various mental health disorders and effective therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated ability in executing mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs.

• Prior experience providing direct therapy services to individuals and groups.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients and team members.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other applicable technology to document patient records accurately.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to a shared mission of patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in culturally competent practices and those who have worked with underserved populations. Familiarity with teletherapy practices is also an advantage as we adapt to innovative service delivery methods.

Compensation and Benefits\n
