Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of patients and their families to identify strengths, needs, and relevant cultural and spiritual considerations, and subsequently establish and modify individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions, documenting patient engagement and progress, and adapting your approaches based on observed responses to treatments.
\n
• Participate actively in treatment planning meetings, presenting updates on patient status and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to evaluate and adjust treatment methodologies where necessary.

• Address resistance and conflict effectively among clients, families, and healthcare team members by employing de-escalation techniques and insightful therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all assessments, interventions, and plans comply with policy standards and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Utilize the latest DSM diagnostic criteria and understanding of human development to guide interventions and therapeutic approaches.

• Apply varied therapeutic techniques, including behavior modification and supportive therapy, to tackle the diverse challenges faced by clients.

• Utilize effective interviewing techniques, alongside consultations with team members, to gather comprehensive information regarding a patient’s medical, social, and emotional circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, who often face hurdles related to mental health, social skills, and transitional life challenges. Building relationships with students is crucial, as establishing trust will facilitate their engagement in the therapeutic process and improve overall outcomes. You will also engage with families to ensure they are involved in care decisions, fostering a team approach centered on the child's best interests.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• Current, independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients and educational staff alike.

• A strong organizational ability and the capacity to manage documentation and service submissions in a punctual manner.

Compensation and Benefits\n

You will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 , reflective of your experience and qualifications.
