Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where you will work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes. You will have access to advanced therapeutic equipment and treatment modalities to facilitate optimal patient recovery. Weekly work expectations include 40 hours, with some variability in weekend scheduling, allowing for flexibility in patient care and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, developing and documenting individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that may include manual therapy techniques, modalities, and exercise regimens, adapting approaches as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment outcomes, and billing information in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care throughout the treatment process.
• Conduct patient education sessions, informing patients and their families about their conditions, treatment protocols, and strategies to maximize functional independence.
• Engage in community outreach and public education to promote physical therapy services and health awareness.
• Participate in leadership activities, including mentoring junior staff, contributing to program development, and attending interdisciplinary meetings.
• Evaluate and ensure adherence to organizational goals related to clinical efficiency, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Each therapist is encouraged to deliver customized care tailored to the unique needs of each patient while fostering an environment of trust and empathy.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other computer applications relevant to patient care and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, with a focus on orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Experience in working within a team-based approach to patient care.
• Knowledge in the use of specialized therapeutic equipment and modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
