Key Responsibilities

• Accurately document all clinical patient transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures, including writing orders and updating progress notes.
• Conduct thorough examinations of patients and order additional diagnostic blood tests when necessary, ensuring accurate assessment and diagnosis.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical, legal, and professional practices in accordance with clinic policies.
• Perform necessary dermatological procedures, which may include injections for cosmetic enhancement, mole removals, and suturing when the situation requires.
• Participate actively in both medical and surgical procedures in the clinic, contributing to a diverse range of treatment plans.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and advocate for optimal health practices.
• Foster open communication: bring forward staff suggestions or concerns to the Medical Director for continuous improvement.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on various dermatological treatment issues, including aftercare and self-management strategies.
• Adapt to a high-energy environment with operational hours Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

At Skin Elixir Clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele seeking specialized dermatological care. Our patients range from those requiring routine skin checks to more complex dermatological interventions. You will be pivotal in providing compassionate care, addressing patient concerns, and enhancing their understanding of skin health and treatment options.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution.
• CPR Certification is required to ensure patient safety during procedures.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant in dermatology or related fields is preferred.
• Competency with various medical software programs to manage electronic health records effectively.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making when necessary, showcasing leadership within the team.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate tactfully with a diverse range of personnel including patients, physicians, and support staff.
• Exhibit flexibility, personal integrity, and a strong capacity to work collaboratively within a team.
• Capability to follow and implement both written and verbal instructions accurately.

Preferred Experience

While two years of prior experience is preferred, candidates with impressive clinical exposure through internships or unique dermatology-focused residencies may also be considered. Familiarity with surgical procedures and advanced patient care techniques in dermatology will be advantageous as we prepare to expand our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary offered for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our competitive benefits package includes:
