Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations for patients presenting with chronic pain, including reviewing medical histories, performing detailed physical examinations, and utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools to assess pain levels.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with physicians and healthcare specialists to create individualized pain management plans that incorporate diverse treatment modalities such as medication management, physical therapy, and interventional procedures like epidural injections or nerve blocks.
• Patient Education: Provide clear and comprehensive education to patients about their conditions, treatment options, and pain management techniques, ensuring they are informed and engaged in their treatment process.
• Procedural Assistance: Assist in various pain management procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety while adhering to clinical protocols. This includes prepping patients for interventions and post-procedural care.
• Follow-up Care: Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their response to therapies, and provide ongoing support, counseling, and follow-up visits to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
