Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients struggling with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, determining the severity and impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a person-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress and support their journey toward recovery.

• Educate and empower clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies, promoting a deeper understanding of their mental health.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment goals and interventions as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care that addresses all facets of the client’s well-being.

• Stay informed on the latest research and trends in mental health treatment to continuously refine your practice and enhance client care.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

• Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma, and ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support clients dealing with mood disorders, including those from vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
