Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Save Rite Medical is seeking a dynamic Assistant Warehouse Manager to help propel our operations forward. We need a proactive leader with a strong sense of urgency and a background in warehouse management to join our fast-paced team.

As a vital member of our leadership team, you will be more than just a manager; you will be the heartbeat of our Brooklyn facility. You will work side-by-side with the Warehouse Manager to oversee our 2-4 person crew, ensuring the perfect delivery of essential healthcare supplies that truly impact lives.

Your role will bridge the gap between physical logistics and technical precision. By leveraging ShipStation and QuickBooks, you will ensure a seamless flow of inventory from receiving to the customer's doorstep.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Support : Assist in supervising a dedicated team of 2-4 warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and speed.
Operational Flow : Oversee end-to-end Shipping and Receiving processes with a relentless "sense of urgency."
Inventory Mastery : Utilize QuickBooks and ShipStation to maintain real-time inventory accuracy and process orders efficiently.
Warehouse Excellence : Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-first environment to optimize picking and packing times.
Flexible Logistics : Assist with local deliveries and driving tasks as needed to ensure our customers get what they need, when they need it.

CORE COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Proven Leadership : You bring a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity, complemented by at least 1 year of direct warehouse experience.
Systems Proficiency : You are highly skilled in utilizing QuickBooks and ShipStation to maintain inventory integrity and drive order processing.
Operational Agility : You possess a relentless "sense of urgency" when overseeing end-to-end shipping and receiving workflows.
Warehouse Stewardship : You are committed to fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and meticulous organization to optimize all picking and packing operations.
Dynamic Support : You are ready to assist with local deliveries and flexible logistics tasks to ensure our customers receive essential supplies exactly when they need them.
Communication : Full fluency in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
Physical Capability : Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain active on your feet throughout the shift.
Compliance : A valid Driver’s License and a reputation for being reliable and punctual.
