Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility in your work schedule while ensuring you have the tools needed to connect with students in various school settings. Our remote work infrastructure is designed to support seamless communication with clients and colleagues alike, leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver therapy and support. You will work in an outpatient mental health clinic model, utilizing evidence-based practices to meet the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Happy Habits, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand students' mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions.

• Implementing a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the individual preferences and requirements of each student.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation according to HIPAA standards, ensuring compliance and confidentiality in all interactions.
\n
• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, school psychologists, and external mental health specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
\n
• Participating in regular peer consultations and team meetings to share insights, discuss care strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
\n
• Providing information and support to students and their families about mental health challenges, treatment recommendations, and available community resources.
\n
• Staying informed of the latest developments in mental health research and practices to enhance your clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on students, ranging from elementary to high school ages, who may be facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and social integration issues. You will work diligently to create a safe and welcoming environment where students can express themselves openly and receive the support they need to succeed academically and personally.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in clinical settings providing psychotherapy to diverse populations, with a particular emphasis on children and adolescents.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused therapy methodologies and other evidence-based practices.
\n
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in educational settings or with school-based mental health programs is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches.
\n
• Ability to utilize digital therapy tools and platforms to enhance client engagement and therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
