Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments with new clients to identify mental health concerns and establish rapport.

• Create and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices and culturally sensitive approaches.

• Demonstrate strong crisis intervention skills, effectively managing emergencies while remaining calm under pressure.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, when clients’ conditions warrant multidisciplinary intervention.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in our EHR system.

• Engage in continuous professional development, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will be diverse, ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders, among others. A key focus will be on delivering culturally competent care that respects the backgrounds and individual experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), LPC, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Superior written and verbal communication abilities, capable of establishing trust and rapport with a variety of client populations.

• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
