Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical conditions and needs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique circumstances, goals, and physician's directives.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring that each patient feels valued, understood, and supported throughout their treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and speech therapists, to design comprehensive care plans that optimize patient recovery.
• Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on their conditions, recovery processes, and home exercise programs to promote active involvement in their rehabilitation.
• Progressively document treatments and adjustments in patient files to track each patient's journey and adapt treatment plans as needed.
• Meet and exceed utilization goals and contribute to overall operational objectives of the rehabilitation center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients served at Valley Care Solution Physical Therapy encompass a wide range of ages and conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients with developmental disorders, neurologic impairments, and athletes requiring rehabilitation for sports injuries. Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license for physical therapy practice in New Jersey.
• Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a genuine ability to connect with patients and colleagues alike.
• Proficiency in computer applications and basic word processing software to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is preferred, providing advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, ideally with a background in a rehabilitation center.
• Current CPR certification to ensure all safety protocols are met during patient interactions.
