Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients to understand their unique needs fully.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific conditions, aspirations, and preferences, ensuring an individualized approach to care.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their support systems about mood disorders, various treatment options, and essential self-care strategies to empower their journey toward recovery.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in the field of mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic strategies and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed professional at Oracle Counseling Center, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing various mood disorders. This includes clients suffering from depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Your role will be crucial in creating tailored treatment plans and therapeutic interventions that effectively address the distinctive challenges faced by each client, thereby directly impacting their mental health and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on treating mood disorders preferred.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.

• A comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and maintain a holistic approach to patient care.

• Demonstrable success in achieving positive treatment outcomes in clients with mood disorders.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with diverse clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
