Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that incorporate analysis of medical conditions affecting mental wellbeing, utilizing established assessment tools and frameworks.

• Develop personalized, integrated treatment plans that holistically address both psychiatric and medical needs, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's unique situation, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Cooperate with medical providers to facilitate coordinated care, participating in interdisciplinary meetings to review treatment progress and adjust plans as necessary.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients at all times.

• Educate patients about the links between mental and physical health, empowering them with tools and strategies to actively manage their wellbeing.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record system.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case reviews, and care planning sessions to contribute to improved patient outcomes across the board.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in integrated care to continuously enhance treatment methodologies and patient experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals with complex mental health needs, including those with co-occurring medical conditions such as chronic illnesses, and substance use disorders. This diverse patient population presents unique challenges, allowing you to apply your expertise in innovative ways that truly impact their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure in Washington state as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• Solid understanding and experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality in accordance with ethical guidelines.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth technologies.
\n
• Strong collaborative skills, with a proven ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
