Accounts Receivable Specialist

Base pay range $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr Hours: M-F 8:30-5 Training: Fully Onsite in Land O\'Lakes Pay: 24-28 Hourly Depending on Experience We are Actively Hiring an Accounts Receivable/Credit Balance Specialist for a Home Health and Rehab Facility in Land O\' Lakes, FL with ample room for growth (little/no experience necessary!) Apply Today. Key Responsibilities Review and resolve a backlog of over 1,000 insurance credit balances . Analyze accounts to identify root causes and recommend strategies to reduce future credit balances. Collaborate with executives, credit balance teams, and SMEs on project-based initiatives and task force assignments. Participate in data analysis and resolution strategy discussions to optimize revenue cycle processes. Complete four weeks of onsite training , followed by a hybrid work schedule. Track and meet key performance metrics, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of credit balances. Requirements / Must-Haves Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics . Strong analytical and critical thinking skills . Basic understanding of financial or accounting principles . Recent graduate or limited professional experience . Nice to Have Previous internship or work experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, or accounts receivable . Proficiency in Excel and experience with data reconciliation . Why Join Us?
