Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Northern Valley Community Health Care, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans for clients.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy in individual, group, and family settings.

• Maintaining detailed, accurate clinical records while adhering to established regulations and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrative care, ensuring that every client’s unique needs are addressed.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to remain well-versed in the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele that includes individuals, couples, and families, many of whom have limited access to mental health resources. Our focus is on treating a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required for this position:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience.

• A strong understanding of legal, ethical, and regulatory standards in mental health care.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and availability. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
