Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality individual, couples, and family therapy sessions in compliance with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) guidelines.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to gather relevant information and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect clients' unique goals and needs.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and ethical practices, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing peer supervision or support groups to ensure continuous personal and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT role at Kindred Connections Society primarily focuses on serving a diverse spectrum of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Recognizing that each client has a unique story, you will work with various cultural backgrounds and life experiences, ensuring that therapy is both accessible and effective. Your expertise will be essential in addressing a wide array of issues, from trauma and anxiety to relationship dynamics and major life transitions.

Qualifications\n

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting. Newly licensed therapists are also encouraged to apply depending on their goals and experience.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse client population and a strong foundation in trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and transitional life challenges.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and maintaining organized documentation.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are a must.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Kindred Connections Society offers competitive compensation within the range of $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year, according to experience, with an attractive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
