Key Responsibilities\n

• Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders, tailoring approaches to meet individual client needs.

• Create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their personal goals and circumstances.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions with patients, providing ongoing support and adjusting treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.

• Carry out continuous assessments of patient progress, utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies to gauge efficacy and outcomes.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, employing interactive techniques that engage clients in their healing process.

• Effectively refer clients to additional specialists when necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health care.

• Stay informed on the latest evidence-based practices and incorporate this knowledge into your therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Empathetic Insight, you will work primarily with individuals and families facing challenges related to mental health disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will have the opportunity to support them in developing healthier relationships, improving communication skills, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
\n
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, mental health crisis intervention, or trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Exemplary therapeutic and counseling skills, with a strong ability to motivate and engage clients throughout the therapeutic process.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse populations, including but not limited to, ethnic minorities, LGBTQIA+ clients, and individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds.

• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions or workshops focused on relationship building or mental health education.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding compensation package, we provide the following benefits:
