Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their needs, strengths, and goals.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to provide therapeutic interventions focused on recovery from trauma, anxiety, and depression.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers to provide comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves clients in a detox setting, focusing on those experiencing substance use disorders, mental health issues, and co-occurring disorders. The clientele often presents with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, and depression. As an LCSW, you will play a critical role in guiding clients through their recovery process and helping them to develop coping mechanisms and life skills necessary for sustained recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• An active LCSW license in the state of Illinois.
