Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and therapy goals while building a strong rapport.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect assessment outcomes and client aspirations, regularly reviewing interventions for effectiveness.

• Provide a range of therapies—including individual, group, and family therapy—utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), as well as solution-focused therapy.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress in therapy, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care that best serves the clients’ needs.

• Advocate for clients’ rights, promoting access to essential mental health services and valuable community resources.

• Uphold confidentiality and maintain adherence to ethical standards as delineated by state licensing boards and professional associations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this vital role, you will engage with a diverse clientele that includes individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. Specializing in mood disorders, you will help clients work through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other personal hurdles. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that your work remains dynamic and impactful, addressing the real-world issues they encounter.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a regionally accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably with a focus on mood disorders.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a solid background in treatment planning and client advocacy.

• Strong grasp of psychopharmacology and the efficacy of collaborative care with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
