The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for assistant/associate/full professor, and Program Director, Medical Physics, Department of Health Physics and Diagnostic Sciences, School of Integrated Health Sciences [R0150483]. The position is a full‑time, 9‑month, tenure‑track or tenured role. Primary Responsibilities Provide guidance for all medical physics programs. Serve as the point of contact between UNLV and CAMPEP. Advising and mentoring medical physics students. Participate in clinical site visits and exams to evaluate students’ clinical competence. Give presentations to students about clinical physics and job opportunities. Engage in curriculum review. Establish an active research program supported by extramural funding. Teach in the department’s medical physics programs. Fulfill service duties in accordance with university criteria. Minimum Qualifications PhD or other doctoral degree in medical physics or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. Certification in therapeutic medical physics by the American Board of Radiology, the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine, or another appropriate certifying agency. At least five years of full‑time post‑graduate experience in the field. Faculty rank will depend on educational credentials, experience, and scholarly achievement; assistant/associate professor (tenure‑track) or associate/professor (tenured).
