Position Overview Plastic Surgery, Assistant/Associate/Professor – Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, UNLV Department: Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Focus: breast reconstruction, reconstructive microsurgery, gender‑affirmation surgery, and complex reconstruction of the trunk, head & neck, and extremities. Key responsibilities include patient care, clinical research, and teaching for residents, fellows, and medical students. The person will also be required to take the plastic surgery call. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited institution. Completion of an ACGME‑accredited plastic surgery residency. Board certified (or in the process of obtaining board certification) in Plastic Surgery. Completion of a microsurgery or reconstructive microsurgery fellowship. Unrestricted Nevada medical license. DEA and pharmacy licenses. Malpractice insurance and hospital privileges as required. Eligible for and will pass a criminal background check. Demonstrated ability to perform job‑related tasks for Nevada System of Higher Education positions, if applicable.
