Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate must: Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and be certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (or complete certification within two years of residency completion). Complete a Family Medicine Residency Program from an ACGME‑accredited institution. Be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical, Nevada pharmacy, and DEA license, and have malpractice coverage. Meet credentialing requirements and obtain privileges at University Medical Center (UMC) and other site locations prior to employment. Possess terminal degree, academic experience, research, and scholarly activity considered for rank determination under the SOM Promotion Criteria.
