Job Description As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Visitor Assistance in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while reporting security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
