Assembler

Shift:

6am-2:30pm with overtime Monday-Friday

4pm-12:30am with overtime Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

• Partner with another team member to complete tasks throughout the assembly process.
• Fill assembly orders from start to finish while meeting company quality standards.
• Read and follow instruction sheets, PCPs, and other essential production documents.
• Log required information accurately on daily and weekly log sheets.
• Receive and verify parts for the assembly process against the order specifications.
• Process parts according to PCP instructions and production requirements.
• Use manual tools, switches, and simple automatic machines to complete assembly tasks.
• Separate, document, and properly handle failed parts identified during assembly or testing.
• Prepare parts for the next step in the production process, including kitting and packaging as needed.
• Support related operations such as packing, material handling, valve and manifold testing, manifold building, kitting, honing, shipping, and machine operation when required.
• Perform basic manufacturing inspection and quality checks using gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Read blueprints or part drawings as needed to verify specifications and inspection criteria.
• Document inspection results and quality requirements in accordance with manufacturing procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and leaders to problem-solve issues in the assembly and testing process.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
