Job Title Multiple Open‑Rank Tenured/Tenure‑Track Faculty Positions in The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering Location Atlanta, Georgia Job Summary The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a faculty position in Biomedical Engineering. Candidates will be considered at all ranks and across all research areas within the field of Biomedical Engineering, with a special interest in individuals who complement the department’s strengths. Applicants are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to teaching and mentoring students. Responsibilities Successful candidates will be expected to develop a vibrant, externally‑funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate level core and elective courses, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and mentorship. Required Qualifications A PhD in engineering or a related field is required by the start of the appointment. Preferred Qualifications The ability to teach and mentor a diverse student body. The ability to promote an inclusive and welcoming educational/work environment. The ability to mentor and assist students interested in pursuing graduate education. The ability to engage students in experiential learning activities and pedagogy that support student success. The ability to engage in high‑impact practices that support deep learning for student success.
