Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Ridgewood, NJ, our rehabilitation facility features modern treatment rooms equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation technology and tools. As a vital member of the onsite therapy team, you will collaborate closely with other rehabilitation professionals in a supportive environment designed to promote effective communication and teamwork. Anticipate working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule while providing consistent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions, understanding their injury history and current limitations.
• Design and implement customized therapy treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, utilizing evidence-based modalities and manual therapy techniques.
• Instruct patients in rehabilitative exercises that focus on improving strength, flexibility, and function, ensuring they are performed correctly and safely.
• Utilize manual therapy methods such as mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and myofascial release to alleviate pain and expedite the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platforms, such as WebPT, to track treatment outcomes effectively.

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse array of clients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist at Human Touch Rehab Center, you will work closely with patients of all ages, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey and empowering them to achieve their physical wellness goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing, free from any restrictions.
• At least two years of professional experience in an outpatient setting, emphasizing orthopedic therapy.
• Demonstrated competency in manual therapy techniques, supported by documented training or clinical experience.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems like WebPT for efficient patient record management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing and delivering workshops or educational sessions for patients and staff.
• Familiarity with current best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation, including the application of advanced therapeutic modalities.
• Previous experience as part of a multidisciplinary team, showcasing collaboration with occupational therapists, physicians, and other health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

Human Touch Rehab Center offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
