Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients with orthopedic conditions to develop effective, individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal functional outcomes.
• Administer a variety of physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, in accordance with evidence-based practice.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and support staff, ensuring adherence to therapy protocols and quality standards in patient care.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on response to therapy.
• Engage with patients through education and encouragement, facilitating their journey towards independence and confidence in managing their condition.
• Contribute to departmental goals by participating in case reviews, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily work with adolescents, adults, and older adults suffering from various orthopedic issues, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. For specialized roles, pediatric experience may be required. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in restoring movement and enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing physical challenges.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active state licensure or certification in physical therapy, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• A Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or a related field from an accredited program is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is mandatory.
• Proficient skills in patient evaluation, care planning, and treatment delivery are essential for this role.

Preferred Experience

• Current CPR certification is preferred, unless otherwise indicated by organizational policy.

Compensation and Benefits
