Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique situation and devise individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, for individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community and address shared mental health concerns.
\n
• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and clinical psychologists to provide well-coordinated, comprehensive care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during critical mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support for those in need.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment choices, and community resources to enhance their understanding and involvement in care.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal standards and ethical practices using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and expertise to enhance overall service delivery.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health therapies to continually improve treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist at Fusion Counseling Center, you will engage with a diverse client base, ranging from adolescents to older adults. Many of our patients present with varying degrees of mental health disorders, requiring tailored therapeutic approaches that respect their cultural backgrounds and personal experiences. Your role will empower clients to confront and navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and best practices for evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to expertly conduct mental health assessments and develop actionable treatment strategies.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, particularly within a community health setting.

• Professional integrity, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to ethical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a therapeutic setting, with a focus on outpatient services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
