Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans with clear, actionable goals that align with each client's recovery trajectory.

• Engage collaboratively with healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care plan, addressing both mental health and substance use challenges effectively.

• Administer crisis intervention strategies, including risk assessments and safety planning, to maintain client safety and promote immediate well-being when crises arise.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation adhering to ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation workshops, promoting understanding and skill development among clients coping with mental health and addiction issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance use disorders, many of whom may also face co-occurring mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.
