The outline of a standard workweek includes a Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasionally extending into the evenings to cater to diverse patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological status of patients, developing personalized treatment strategies accordingly.

• Create and manage individualized treatment plans that are reflective of scientific evidence and cater to each patient's specific challenges and diagnosis.

• Implement various evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, addressing emotional challenges and promoting resilience and coping mechanisms among patients.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and healthcare teams to foster cohesive care strategies that address both clinical and personal aspects of the patients' lives.

• Provide crisis intervention during high-stress situations, demonstrating compassion and professionalism while ensuring patient safety.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment alternatives, and available resources to empower them in their journey towards recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation adhering to state and federal regulations and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n
