The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, enhanced by a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily activities will include:

• Conducting thorough preliminary interviews and documenting detailed case histories from the initial consultation through the completion of treatment.

• Evaluating clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional states to identify disorders and devise personalized treatment strategies.
\n
• Developing and implementing tailored intervention and recovery plans for various demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitating engaging therapy sessions adapted to the unique needs of clients, ensuring a comfortable and productive virtual environment.

• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans and techniques as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborating closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and social workers, on comprehensive intervention plans.

• Following up with healthcare providers concerning clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care during and post-discharge.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.

• Demonstrated competency in clinical mental health, evidenced by passing scores on the NCE and/or NCMHCE exams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear interactions with clients and stakeholders.

• Strong interpersonal skills combined with an empathetic approach toward clients.
