Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and developing positive therapeutic relationships, ensuring to maintain professional boundaries and ethics at all times.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, address ongoing challenges, plan for upcoming appointments, and facilitate discharge when appropriate.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment progress, to support clinical outcomes and enhance the therapeutic process.

• Perform initial intake assessments to gather comprehensive client histories and determine suitable treatment strategies.
\n
• Provide individual therapy sessions to clients on a weekly basis, utilizing techniques that align with their treatment plans.

• Engage in individual supervision and participate in team meetings to discuss treatment outcomes and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric populations and/or individuals with substance use issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
