This role will be conducted in a remote, outpatient office setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring access to a wide-ranging clientele. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, as well as group and family sessions, to support clients dealing with various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, and substance abuse.

• Perform thorough diagnostic assessments in order to develop tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and goals.
\n
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning alongside an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and educators, to ensure a holistic approach to each client's care.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and secure electronic health records while adhering to confidentiality regulations.
\n
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development to deepen your expertise and stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and perform risk assessments when necessary to safeguard client safety and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health counselor license (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing direct counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.

• Strong capabilities in communication, interpersonal interactions, and organizational skills.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate within treatment teams.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and various telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in outpatient settings is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly within the Brooklyn area.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
