Our client, a global fashion company, is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Midtown. The successful candidate will a strong understanding of invoicing and expense tracking, the ability to work independently, and can thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
- Contract Role: 3 months
- Pay: $30-34/hr W2 (No C2C)
- Schedule: Hybrid 3 days onsite, standard 40-hour work week M-F
- Process invoices for various departments
- Ensuring accurate payments made electronically or by check
- Respond and resolve vendor and departmental inquiries
- Perform monthly reconciliations by reviewing aging reports, journal entries, and payment clearing
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration
- 2+ years of corporate accounts payable experience ideally within the retail, fashion, or beauty industries
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.)
- Prior experience using SAP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
