Key Responsibilities\n

• Diagnose mental health conditions utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM V) standards, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client’s unique needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on best practice guidelines tailored to each diagnosis. Facilitate therapy sessions providing supportive counseling, education, and therapeutic interventions.

• Employ cognitive behavioral therapy techniques across various formats including individual, family, and group sessions, adapting to the specific dynamics of each setting.

• Manage crisis situations with prompt assessment of client needs, delivering immediate care, and connecting clients with appropriate services when necessary.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic approaches such as behavior modification and brief therapy to enhance client outcomes and foster positive mental health.

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to mental health workers and therapy assistants, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

• Collaborate with a network of community professionals to develop cross-system treatment plans and support systems for clients.

• Facilitate training and educational sessions on clinical best practices for team members, promoting continuous professional development and community awareness.

• Conduct initial assessments for new clients, including an Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessment, to evaluate treatment needs and formulate appropriate diagnoses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

By understanding these dynamics, you will serve to empower clients through psychoeducation and equitable access to mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program is required.

• An independent license to practice in Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is essential for this role.

• A proven ability to effectively manage a diverse and sizeable caseload while collaborating with providers and support staff.

Compensation and Benefits\n
