Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, psychological, and social needs, allowing for a tailored therapeutic approach.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methods to address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

• Engage clients through ongoing one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Mindfulness practices.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers to create a holistic approach to each client's care.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, ensuring that all client records reflect the quality and continuity of care.

• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, including supervision, peer reviews, and trainings, staying updated on best practices and innovations in the mental health field.

• Engage in outreach and community education initiatives designed to promote mental health awareness and improve access to our services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our community health clinic, you will work with a diverse population ranging from children to adults, addressing a wide array of mental health challenges. Our clients come from varied socio-economic backgrounds and present with complex emotional and psychological issues, indicating the need for a culturally competent and empathetic approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a robust benefits package.
